Disability Services

The Coordinator of Disability Services acts as a liaison between administrators, faculty and students by arranging for reasonable academic and non-academic accommodations for eligible students with disabilities on all ASU-Beebe campuses.

ASU-Beebe makes every effort to offer equal educational opportunities for all students and is committed to improving the total university experience for people with disabilities.

Any student with a disability who would like to request accommodations is responsible for:

Contacting the Coordinator of Disability Services as soon as possible after deciding to attend ASU-Beebe.

Providing recent, adequate and complete documentation about the disability to the Coordinator.

Requesting accommodations prior to the beginning of each semester.

Meeting with the Coordinator to formally request accommodations. The Coordinator of Disability Services and the student will work together to identify reasonable and appropriate accommodations.

Providing instructors with a letter of accommodations at the beginning of each semester.  This letter will be prepared by the Coordinator.

Meeting with the Coordinator periodically throughout the semester to evaluate academic progress and needs

Students with disabilities are required to meet the same academic standards and code of conduct as all other students at ASU-Beebe.
